Perimeter Pest Protection
Protect your
home from insect invasion with a barrier treatment around your
home's perimeter. We will provide an insect shield around the
outside of your home. This will control such pests as ants,
crickets, spiders and more, BEFORE they have a chance to enter your
home. The timing of the applications are late spring, summer and
fall, however, applications may be started at any time. Spring
treatments control newly active insects heading inside to avoid cold
snaps and find a source of food for the season. Summer treatments
fight newly hatched insects like crickets and millipedes. Fall
treatments prevent spiders and others from coming in to seek shelter
from the winter cold. A full year of protection should consist of
three treatments. Each application last approximately 6-8
weeks. |

Grub Control
There are
several types of white grubs that feed on the roots of lawn grasses.
All of them can cause severe damage if left untreated. Grubs (the
larvae of a number of beetles) can become serious lawn pests when
present in high numbers. The beetles lay their eggs in your lawn,
and the newly hatched worms feed on roots of a wide variety of
grasses, cutting the roots and loosening the sod. Most beetles lay
their eggs mid to late summer, and the young grubs do their greatest
damage during the fall months. Lawns infested with grubs will show
irregularly shaped patches of wilted, dead or dying grass in April
and May and again in August to mid-October. Grass does not always
recover from severe grub injury, but it can re-grow if the injury is
moderate. Grubs don’t disappear on their own. The best time to apply
preventative grub control is from mid-June to August.

Surface Feeding Insect Control
There are many species of turf
damaging insects that feed directly upon the leaf tissue "blades" of
the turf plant. In most cases, these insects are already in the
lawn, but do not cause severe damage. A properly watered lawn
reduces insect invasion. Newer lawns and lawns under stress are the
ones that will receive damage if left untreated. A surface insect
control will give your lawn the help it needs to thrive.
